Dr. Sapna Khatri graduated from York University with Honours Bachelor of Science, and then proceeded to complete her Doctor of Optometry at New England College of Optometry.
She has completed her clinical rotations at a variety of sites throughout the United States, including the Veteran’s Affairs hospitals in Vermont as well as Buffalo. She has also rotated through community health centres in Boston, and a private practice in Illinois. She has gained valuable knowledge in the treatment and management of various ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and uveitis. She has also completed a low vision speciality rotation in Buffalo.
Dr. Khatri is committed to providing the best care possible for her patients. She is an active member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, as well as the Optometry Association of Ontario.
During her free time, Dr. Khatri enjoys cooking, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family. She is also an advocate for the Parkinson's Disease community, exemplified by her seven-year ongoing commitment to the Parkinson Canada organization.
