Eye Exam Q&A

clipart 010Regular eye exams with your optometrist are important to maintaining good eye health by keeping your prescription up-to-date and also by detecting and preventing potential diseases before they can become problematic. Because many eye diseases and conditions can develop slowly and do not have any obvious symptoms, early detection with your eye doctor can reduce the risk of further harm and give you the best treatment options.

COVID-19 URGENT NOTICE

Due to COVID-19, the College of Optometrists of Ontario has recommended Optometrists to provide urgent care only until further notice. Our office will be closed for routine eye exams and we will be offering urgent eye care by appointment ONLY. Please e-mail us at ptcoptometricclinic@gmail.com if you would like to book a future eye exam, need to order your contact lenses (shipped to you directly) or need to discuss an urgent eye care problem.

**Please note if you have travelled outside the country in the last 14 days and/or are experiencing any symptoms of cough/fever/ respiratory problems and/or have come into contact with anyone with COVID-19 please call public health and refrain from making an appoint.

**If this is an ocular emergency and you are unable to reach us please visit your closest hospital. Thank you for your understanding.
